Today marks the first day of the second quarter of 2023, and the core Ellivate principle we’re focusing on this quarter is Connection:

At its core, business is about connecting, collaborating with and supporting other humans. Gain more clarity on your ideal audience, uncover more authentic sales and marketing approaches, and identify how you can better meet the needs of the people you most want to serve.

Collaboration is a feminine strength and a core principle on which Ellivate is founded. Let’s explore collaboration in more depth this month, so we can more consciously tap into its magic to elevate one another, our businesses, and ourselves.

When you work alone, it can be easy to get stuck in limited ways of thinking. After all, we are each limited by our own experiences and perceptions. We don’t often realize what we’re not seeing or the ways we may be holding ourselves back.

When we choose to work with someone else, that person can challenge our perspective. We can expand our learning and gain access to new thoughts and ideas. We can create an upward spiral of ideas as we build off one another’s thoughts.

Collaboration is more than just a way of working together. It’s the desire to create in companionship with another person’s thoughts, emotions, and energy. Collaboration requires an attitude of generosity and clear communication. True collaboration is a relationship that elevates everyone it impacts.

Here are three ways we are inviting you to consciously tap into the magic of collaboration with Ellivate this month:

  1. If you’re a brave woman entrepreneur seeking a community of women to collaborate with, register for our next Ellivate Alliance Curiosity Session on May 11! You can learn more about what it means to be part of Ellivate and meet some other amazing women business owners. When you join the Ellivate Alliance, you can tap into the magic of collaboration anytime!
  2. Join our special (free!!) public event on May 19 in collaboration with Ellivate sister, Fatima Mann, Co-birther of Love & Healing Work, How to Leverage White Privilege in Business. Fatima will lead a discussion with several Ellivate members to explore how consent and non-harmful practices cultivate human-centered spaces that naturally birth equity, how to engage as a team from a human-centered lens, and how to embody culturally mindful business practices. (Please note that this program is for everyone, even if you do not identify as white.)
  3. Support our mission to activate and amplify feminine power by becoming a sponsor of Ellivate or donating to our scholarship fund for women on the Emerging Path. (Click here to register your interest).

Collaboration creates new possibilities – for each person, those we serve and the world at large. It makes us all better. I can’t wait to see what’s possible when each of us chooses to intentionally collaborate this month!

With deep love and gratitude,

Sarah signature
